The Office of Environmental Health and Safety

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) provides services designed to support research and teaching.

EH&S assists all University units with management of hazardous chemicals, sources of ionizing radiation, and biological agents through consultative services, training, coordination of waste disposal, inspections, audits, and other methods. These services continue to evolve as a result of your input and guidance from the Biological Safety Committee, Chemical Hygiene Committee, and Radiation Safety Committee.
